As part of our commitment to Create a Difference with Pride, we are proud to announce our partnership with Glazer Academy located in our neighborhood. The DCT family is geared to volunteer for 500 hours a year. Our team will be volunteering in the activities identified below supporting various needs in education, life skills, and quality of life.

New Paradigm Glazer Academy [Glazer] is a K-8 school located less than 1 mile [2001 La Belle St, Detroit] from our facilities. It is a charter school and is part of New Paradigm For Education [NPFE], a nonprofit Charter Management Organization with six schools in Detroit. Glazer’s student population consists of 99% African American students and over 90% of students qualify to receive free and reduced lunch. DCTI’s Community Care Activities take place during regular business house [9 am to 4 pm] with some weekend hours. All volunteers are given time off during the week to help the students of Glazer.
